Deputy Director (Experiential Centre Development) - Army

What the role is

You drive the end-to-end development of Our Army Arena, an experiential centre that serves as a one-stop family-friendly destination can explore the life, values, and training of Singapore Army National Servicemen through interactive visits and immersive experiences.

What you will be working on

- Lead the strategic planning and execution to transform Singapore Discovery Centre into Our Army Arena - Drive feasibility studies, design and build phases, and oversee the launch and operationalisation of the facility - Translate MINDEF/SAF leadership's intent into actionable operational workstreams and delivery mechanisms - Oversee budget management and project delivery within projected costs and timelines - Manage complex procurement processes and infrastructure-related workstreams - Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure seamless integration of all project components - Establish robust project governance frameworks and monitoring systems to track progress and outcomes Challenge(s) - Effectively translatiing intent into operational workstreams and putting in place the necessary mechanisms to deliver the desired outcomes - Managing diverse stakeholders' interests and expectations whilst reconciling competing demands to meet project schedules within projected costs

What we are looking for

- Education in Business, Management, Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or related disciplines - At least 15 years of relevant experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, procurement processes, and complex stakeholder environments - Proven track record in project management methodologies and frameworks - Strong leadership and team management capabilities - Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
