What the role is

You will assess and strengthen security measures across the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)'s industry partnerships and projects, ensuring compliance with security policies and frameworks. You will serve as the main point of contact for industry security matters, overseeing security risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations that implicate the RSN.

What you will be working on

- Assess the effectiveness of Security Implementation Plans, Security Management Plans and Information Management Plans to address security risks originating from RSN projects involving industry partners or industrial facilities during the Project Phase - Participate in security surveys of industrial facilities to identify security risks to RSN and recommend appropriate mitigating measures - Develop and review the audit regime for RSN's industry partners in alignment with policies and practices, and partner the Industry Security Division to conduct security outreach programmes - Conduct security risk assessments for RSN's capability exports to safeguard RSN's interests and ensure compliance with policies with robust risk mitigation measures in place - Serve as the unit's main point of contact for industry security incident investigations implicating the RSN, facilitating fact-finding, damage assessments and evidence collection - Supervise and vet audit reports and security plans developed by staff officers, providing recommendations for endorsement - Conduct facility clearances and audits on local and foreign industry partners, including those involved in selected projects, in partnership with the Military Security Department (MSD) Challenge(s) - Overseeing a wide spectrum of industry partners and outsourced services whilst remaining cognisant of the diverse security risks across RSN's operational context, and comprehending commercial entities' security practices and standards to develop and execute an effective audit regime - Managing stakeholders across RSN, MINDEF/SAF and industry partners whilst balancing their varying needs and ensuring effective protective security measures are in place to meet RSN's security requirements

What we are looking for

- Education in Auditing, Supply Chain Management or related fields is preferred - At least 6 years of relevant working experience - Background in security or auditing to shape the audit and security assessment regime in accordance with industry standards, or industry and supply chain experience for familiarity with working processes and security risks assumed by industry partners - Excellent communication and writing skills with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across military and commercial environments Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
