What the role is

You will maintain oversight of the Digital & Intelligence Service Safety Inspectorate (DSI) safety education system, undertaking curriculum development and conducting safety training modules. You will also ensure alignment of safety education while benchmarking against other Safety Inspectorates.

What you will be working on

- Establish and maintain oversight of the safety education and training roadmap, mapping out safety training for safety practitioners and education requirements in DIS' Route Of Advancement (ROA) courses - Ensure alignment of safety education frameworks at Command, Formation/Group and unit levels across the organisation - Study and address safety-related curriculum gaps between Command to unit level for safety education - Develop, produce and manage safety education materials and resources to support training delivery - Implement and conduct safety courses and workshops, including education lessons for ROA courses and safety workshops - Periodically review and benchmark the DIS safety education system against other Safety Inspectorates to identify best practices and improvement opportunities Challenge(s) - Navigating the complexities of training and education processes while maintaining familiarity with all relevant safety rules, documents and safety-related executive compliance requirements - Applying critical thinking skills to provide fair and objective assessments of training effectiveness and developing actionable recommendations to improve training frameworks and processes

What we are looking for

- Education in any field - At least 6 years of relevant experience in safety training and education - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to assess training effectiveness objectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with personnel at various organisational levels Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
