Deputy Director, Project Delivery & Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on development projects from project inception to handover.

• Responsible for project management for entire project life-cycle.

• Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.

• Develop project brief, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.

• Identify project interface issues and work with all interfacing parties to develop mitigation measures.

• Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meets the specified quality standards.

• Able to work independently in leading project teams as well as able to work in highly collaborative environment.

• Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.

• Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.

• Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Possess minimum of 20 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.

• Required to have project management experience in multi-disciplinary infrastructure or building projects and have managed construction contracts of at least S$150million.

• Prior experience as Superintending Officer or Superintending Officer’s representative for PSSCOC contracts would be an advantage.

• Possess good written and communication skill in English.

This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
