What the role is
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both the PET and CET learners
Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and making recommendations on areas of improvement that would enhance students’ learning, performance, and employability.
Keep abreast of current trends and developments as well as emerging trends
Handle administrative work relating to teaching.
Supervise and mentor students in competitions and consultancy projects
Support student learning through consultation and mentorship
Identify and establish new collaboration opportunities with industry partners for curriculum collaboration, CET programme initiatives, and consultancy projects
Organise and lead overseas study trips, immersion programs, and student exchange initiative
What we are looking for
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in financial accounting.
Exposed to Statistics through education and/or work.
Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Excel, alongside a solid foundation in accounting principles.
Committed to stay updated with evolving financial regulations and advancements, with a drive to integrate these into the classroom.
Passionate about education and possess a strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths (Full-Time students) and adult learners (Continuing Education).
Willingness to design engaging curriculum, developing data-driven case studies, and delivering impactful lessons that bridge theory and practice.
Self-driven, independent, and possess the readiness to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary academic team.
Possess wit, innovation, initiative, and the ability to simplify complex quantitative concepts through strong communication skills.
Relevant professional certifications will have an added advantage.
