Project: Data Automation for Trusted Centre
The Trusted Centre for Individual and Business Data at DOS (DOS TC) shares data with the Whole-of-Government (WOG) for policy analysis, agency operations and service delivery purposes under the Public Sector (Governance) Act.
The intern will assist to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort for specific processes in TC, including derivation of new data products and indicators, thorough understanding of the metadata and interface specifications, requirements gathering and specifying requirements, working with tech teams, and automation implementation.
The intern will also be exposed to user requests for the data, to gain an understanding of the TC’s business process from data acquisition to data dissemination.

What we are looking for
- Knowledge or experience in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accountancy, Actuarial Science or subjects with substantial quantitative content
- Proficiency in R or Python, and SQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with Commercial ETL tools will be an added advantage.
- Required Duration: Jul/Aug 2026 to Dec 2026/Jan 2027 [Min. 24 weeks]
