What the role is

The Creative Video Producer will spearhead short-form video content creation within MUIS's digital ecosystem, addressing the critical need for platform-native video production expertise across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This role focuses primarily on creating engaging, trend-aware short-form content that resonates with younger audiences whilst providing communications consultancy to MUIS clusters and supporting the team's daily social media operations.

What you will be working on

  • Produce high-quality, platform-native short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that leverage current trends, audio, and creative formats whilst ensuring content aligns with MUIS's institutional objectives and messaging guidelines

  • Execute complete video production workflow from concept development, filming, editing, to publication with emphasis on vertical format requirements, optimal timing, and platform-specific algorithmic considerations

  • Provide communications consultancy to MUIS clusters on digital content strategy, messaging approaches, and platform-specific best practices to enhance their engagement with target audiences

  • Support day-to-day social media operations of the team including content scheduling, community management assistance, and cross-platform content coordination

  • Monitor trends, challenges, and emerging content formats across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts to identify opportunities for institutional engagement whilst maintaining appropriate tone and messaging discipline

  • Transform complex religious and institutional content into accessible, engaging short-form formats that appeal to younger demographics without compromising message integrity

  • Deliver rapid content turnaround for trending topics and real-time engagement opportunities whilst maintaining production quality and brand consistency standards across all platforms

  • Analyse performance metrics and audience engagement data across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts to optimise content strategy and improve reach, engagement, and follower growth

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary education in any relevant field is required for this position

  • Possess extensive experience in short-form video content creation across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with demonstrated understanding of platform-specific algorithms, trending formats, and audience engagement strategies

  • Have advanced video production and editing skills with proficiency in mobile-first editing tools and software suitable for vertical format and quick-turnaround requirements across multiple platforms

  • Demonstrate strong communications consultancy abilities with experience advising stakeholders on digital content strategy and messaging approaches for diverse audiences

  • Show proven ability to create viral or high-engagement content whilst maintaining brand integrity and appropriate institutional tone across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
