What you will be working on
Strategic Communications & Media Relations
• Develop and execute strategic communications plans to promote the accountancy sector, accounting and auditing standards, and sustainability reporting
• Conduct daily media monitoring and analysis
• Draft communications materials including press releases, factsheets, and talking points to support ACRA's events and announcements
• Manage media relations, including handling media queries and facilitating media requests at ACRA events
• Develop crisis communications strategies and responses
Digital Communications & Content Creation
• Create and manage content for ACRA's website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Serve as webmaster for ACRA's digital platforms
Corporate Communications & Engagement
• Coordinate branding and internal communications initiatives, including managing the OneACRA WhatsApp channel
• Assess events and coordinate engagement sessions with stakeholders
• Handle subscription matters and coordinate webinars
What we are looking for
• Professional Qualification in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields
• One to three years of relevant experience in corporate communication functions. Candidates without prior experience will also be considered.
Competencies
• Strong project management skills to collaborate effectively across divisions and with external vendors
• Strategic thinking ability to develop communications plans for complex regulatory and technical subject matters
• Excellent writing and communication skills to effectively convey ACRA's key messages to diverse stakeholder groups
• Proficiency in social media management across multiple platforms, with knowledge of content editing tools, video and photo-editing software, web content management systems, and social media management tools
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging cross-functional environment
