Product & UX Execution • Support the delivery of product initiatives by contributing to design work across multiple domains, identifying user needs, drive design problem-solving to create intuitive, accessible, and effective digital solutions • Contribute to the development and adoption of design standards and frameworks, and assist in tracking design metrics that demonstrate design impact • Work with product teams and business owners to advocate for good user experience through intuitive interactions and user-centred design solutions • Develop and deepen your understanding of strategic product thinking under the guidance of senior designer and product lead Product Development, Delivery & Design Excellence • Apply design thinking processes to engage stakeholders, develop user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to conceptualise and test digital solutions across the product development lifecycle • Translate user needs and product requirements into clear user flows, information architecture, interaction designs, and accessible UI solutions • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, design trade-offs, and implementation feasibility • Support user research initiatives to influence product strategy and inform design decision, translating insights into actionable design recommendations that enhance product usability and effectiveness • Assist in planning and conducting discovery work, including user interviews, workshops, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points • Synthesise research findings into clear, actionable insights for the team • Uphold accessibility and inclusive design principles in all product development work Data-Driven Decision Making & Innovation • Assist in analysing data and user feedback to surface insights that inform design improvements and product iterations • Stay current with emerging design techniques, digital service trends, and tools, and share relevant findings with the team • Support experimentation and usability testing efforts to validate design decisions and measure product performance

• Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Product Design, Design Research or a related field (or equivalent experience) • At least 4 years of experience in product, UI/UX design or related role, working on end-to-end design initiatives from discovery through delivery, with demonstrated success in launching and scaling complex digital products • Proficiency in contemporary design tools, both physical and digital, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Sketch, InVision • Keen interest in emerging technologies like AI, with familiarity or knowledge of vibe coding and AI-powered prototyping tools (e.g. Loveable, Figma Make) will be advantageous. • Passionate about understanding how people think and interact with digital services and driven by a desire to improve people's lives through intuitive, user-centred design in the public sector context. • Take ownership and managing tasks independently, while also able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
