What you will be working on
- Provide continuous monitoring and analysis to support early awareness of emerging cyber threats and maintain visibility over potential information exposure or system issues
- Monitor open-source platforms frequented by cyber threat actors known or likely to target MINDEF/SAF and the Defence sector
- Prepare detailed intelligence reports and disseminate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Procure, develop and implement technical solutions to enhance threat collection operations
Conduct ongoing research to keep pace with evolving threat landscapes and maintain access to critical information sources
Challenge(s)
- Staying ahead of rapidly evolving cyber threat actors who continuously adapt their tactics, techniques and procedures to evade detection
- Balancing the need for detailed analysis with the requirement to provide timely early warning intelligence in a high operational tempo environment
What we are looking for
- Education in Information Security, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering related fields
- At least 3 years' of relevant experience is preferred
- Possession of GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining strategic perspective
- Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative to enhance operational effectiveness
- Fast learner with strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to think creatively, improvise and adapt tools and techniques for effective threat collection operations
- Strong research intuition and excellent written communication skills
