PUB's Inspectorate Water Tank team administers the annual water tank certification regime and carry out periodic checks to ensure that the water tanks at customers' premises have been properly maintained and secured in accordance with the stipulated requirements.

What you will be working on
1. Monitor the annual water tank certification of some 20,000 buildings with 80,000 water tanks
2. Maintain and manage the water tank database
3. Handle cases and feedback relating to water tank security and maintenance including site inspections
4. Evaluate and recommends enforcement actions for cases of non-compliances
5. Manage contractors and oversee the Qualified Checkers (QC) water tank inspection regime
6. Plan and carry out audit checks on QCs, verification of inspection reports and claims submitted
7. Plan, review and calibrate the inspection regime based on operational considerations and requirements
8. Assist in conducting training and briefing for LPs, QCs and other stakeholders
9. Investigate and liaise with other Divisions on water tank or water quality related issues
What we are looking for
• Diploma in Engineering
• Organised and meticulous
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and resourceful
• Comfortable working with different internal and external stakeholders and conducting on-site inspections
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in the basic use of data analytics software is advantageous
