What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on Master Plan development projects from project inception to handover.
Responsible for design management, project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.
Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.
Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
Conduct regular site visits/inspections and report on quality and progress.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 12 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry
Required to have design management and project management experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary engineering infrastructure projects, and have managed contracts with a value of at least S$100 million.
Demonstrated project management capabilities with proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
Familiarity with procurement processes, including tender evaluation, contract administration and working knowledge of PSSCOC.
Experience in marine and coastal projects and/or bridge projects would be an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders from diverse and non-technical backgrounds.
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
