Senior Analyst - Senior Principal Analyst (Solar)

What the role is

Conduct technical and economic analysis to assess Singapore's solar ambition across diverse deployment scenarios, whilst developing strategic insights and national roadmaps for solar deployment optimisation.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:

Technical & Economic Analysis

  • Perform comprehensive analysis across solar deployment types, evaluating capacity factor variations and performance metrics

  • Assess grid integration impacts for innovative solar deployment scenarios

  • Conduct technological scanning and analysis of emerging solar technologies and deployment methods

  • Execute economic viability studies and cost-benefit analyses for new deployment configurations

  • Develop technical assessment frameworks for evaluating solar deployment potential

Data Analytics & Strategic Planning

  • Analyse solar deployment landscape data to generate strategic insights and recommendations

  • Create and maintain national solar roadmaps incorporating technical and economic considerations

  • Lead development of ops-tech roadmaps requiring technical expertise and technology prospecting

  • Develop analytical models to support evidence-based solar deployment decisions

  • Support strategic planning through robust data analysis and forecasting​

What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Education in Engineering, Economics, or related analytical field

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical analysis, economic assessment, or energy sector analytics

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools

  • Understanding of solar PV technologies and energy systems

  • Experience in economic modelling and viability assessments

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in technology prospecting, data analytics

  • Relevant experience in strategic planning and roadmap development
