National Parks Board

Senior Executive or Executive / Human Resource (Contract)

Fixed Terms
Closing on 18 May 2026

What the role is

You will be part of a committed and dynamic HR Team, responsible for the implementation of effective people management policies in National Parks Board. As Executive/HR, you will be supporting the Managers in coordinating learning & development programmes for the diverse groups of professionals within the agency.

What you will be working on

Beyond the core responsibilities of managing programme sign-ups, processing invoices, maintaining training databases and creating emailers on upcoming programmes, you will be expected to bring a tech-forward mindset to how these tasks are done. This includes exploring and applying AI tools to streamline administrative workflows, drafting and refining communications more efficiently, and identifying opportunities to automate routine processes.

You will also assist with overseas trips administration matters and contribute to HR projects, some of which may involve data analysis, process improvement, or the adoption of new digital tools.

We are looking for someone who is not just organised and detail-oriented, but who is curious about how technology can make HR work smarter — and who takes initiative in putting that curiosity to practical use.

What we are looking for

  • Meticulous with an eye for detail, especially when working with data and digital systems

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to craft clear and engaging written communications with the aid of AI tools

  • Self-initiated, independent and an effective team member who proactively seeks better ways of working

  • Comfortable working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and data — and keen to use them well

  • Familiarity with or interest in AI productivity tools (such as generative AI assistants, automation platforms, or data visualisation tools) is a plus

  • Adaptable and willing to pick up new technologies as the team's digital capabilities evolve

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Successful candidate will be employed on 11-month contract with staff benefits
