Senior Scientific Executive/Scientific Executive (Tuas South Incineration Plant)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work as a scientific executive in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the laboratory, treatment plants and its auxiliary equipment are operating smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the following:
Consolidate and analyse data for process quality control; manage laboratory records and submission of data to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
Ensure proper storage, transportation, handling, and disposal of samples collected, as well as calibration and regular maintenance is carried out on equipment as per standing operating procedure/ equipment manufacturer’s recommended practice
Conducts tests on process samples, emissions/ effluents to ensure test results meet acceptable range in accordance to established procedures
Develop and implement preventive equipment maintenance schedules taking into account needs on ad-hoc basis
Procurement of goods and services, tracks inventory
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for
Job Qualifications/Experience:
- Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Diploma in Chemical and Biological Engineering / Diploma in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in a laboratory, or operation of water treatment plant of a chemical process plant/ power plant. Fresh graduates will be considered.

- Integrity and good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Analytical with good writing, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to lead, interact and foster team work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
