As a Field Intelligence Officer, you will perform the following:
a) Provide ground intelligence on the foreign workforce and employment offences for effective and timely enforcement.
b) Monitor the foreign worker landscape to detect situations or issues that may need intervention by MOM or other government agencies to maintain public order and social cohesion.
c) Be part of a team to conduct ground operations to collect intelligence for enforcement and monitor developments in Work Pass abuses.
d) Develop and maintain a wide range of sources to collect information, assess the implications and propose appropriate follow-up actions.
e) Keep a close pulse on the ground situation amongst foreign workers and actively probe into any incidents or issues of concern.
f) Work closely with other government agencies to share information and conduct joint operations to prevent and detect employment offences and other crimes involving Work Passes and foreign workers.

• Tertiary education
• Experience in law enforcement/ regulatory work preferred
• Good social/ networking and observation skills
• Creative and be able to think on your feet and adapt to situations
• Enjoys outdoor work and can work beyond office hours or on weekends
• Good report writing skills and adept with Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to converse in foreign language will be an added advantage
