Deputy Manager/Manager, HR Business Partner

What the role is

The Attorney-General’s Chambers is looking for a driven and articulate candidate with keen interest in HR business partnering to join the organization. You will be part of the Human Resource (HR) Business Partnering team and will be collaborating directly with business units to deliver end-to-end HR in a responsive and efficient manner, while at the same time, working closely with various specialists within the Corporate Services Division (CSD) to deliver business outcomes.

What you will be working on

Some of the key responsibilities are: • Manage strategic relationships with the assigned divisions, and provide dedicated and seamless HR support in both strategic and operational aspects (e.g. recruitment, performance management, benefits management) • Develop deep understanding of the business requirements, and translate into HR and people requirements for the division (e.g. develop the job description of a redesigned role) • Design and implement initiatives, including the usage of digital solutions and tools, to improve process efficiency and business satisfaction levels • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, in seeking inputs for critical HR processes (e.g. manpower planning), reviewing work products or outcomes (e.g. division strategic workforce plans, job descriptions etc.) • Collaborate with other HR specialist teams to provide timely and practical inputs into HR/talent initiatives

What we are looking for

Requirements • Prior relevant working experience in human resource business partnering or operations (e.g. recruitment, manpower planning) and the public sector will be advantageous. • Good written and verbal communication skills, with experiences in stakeholder engagement. • Receptive to the adoption of technology and relevant tools, with interest in HR analytics • Result-oriented, proactive and able to work well independently and in a team setting.
