[Specific Job Responsibilities]
• Supervision of Junior Butlers – Supervise, mentor and train junior butlers to uphold high service standards, while overseeing staff deployment, staff attendance and daily briefings to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Event Management – Plan, coordinate and execute events hosted at Istana and external venues, managing logistics, protocol arrangements and stakeholder coordination to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Guest Relations – Deliver personalised, discreet and professional service to guests while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and guest satisfaction.
• Maintenance and Safety – Oversee the upkeep, maintenance and safety of Istana properties by coordinating with vendors, mitigating risks, and ensuring staff compliance with service and safety protocols as well as confidentiality standards.

What you will be working on
[Service Operations Planning and Management]
• Manage a team (including outsourced partners) to deliver service in accordance with prescribed standards and targets (e.g. motivating staff to service excellence).
• Engage stakeholders to align operation needs and expectations, plan resource deployment and solve service issues.
• Recommend improvements to systems and processes to optimise effectiveness in serving stakeholders’ needs.
• Resolve simple conflicts faced in the course of managing stakeholders and escalate issues in a timely manner.

• Develop solutions for problems encountered in the course of carrying out your work tasks, guided by SOPS, background knowledge and past hospitality experiences and able to incorporate different opinions when developing an action plan.

An ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Selected candidates will be offered a contract of 1 year in the first instance.
