Executive, Low-Carbon Energy & Nuclear Energy Divisions (1-year contract)

What the role is

MTI’s Low-Carbon Energy Division and Nuclear Energy Division are responsible for formulating Singapore’s energy policies and strategies related to nuclear energy and other low-carbon energy pathways. The Divisions work closely together with the Energy Market Authority, other Government agencies, academics, and private sector stakeholders. The Divisions’ responsibilities include developing initiatives to promote and accelerate the deployment of mature low-carbon alternative sources of energy such as solar, developing R&D strategies for energy and decarbonisation, and building capabilities to study the potential deployment of nuclear energy.

What you will be working on

We are looking for an officer who (i) thrives working in a dynamic environment; and (ii) is adept working with multiple stakeholders and across organisational boundaries to join our team for a year. Specifically, you will provide administrative support to both divisions, including but not limited to the following areas: • Provide comprehensive and seamless administrative support to the Divisions including security clearance for external visitors/meeting attendees, booking of venues for meetings, assisting with the logistics and organisation of industry engagement events, putting up approvals for overseas work trips and assisting in coordinating trips for the team. • Provide support to the division in financial processes e.g. processing of invoices, tracking of cashflow and budget utilisations. • Support for the Divisions’ Knowledge Management by ensuring that officers adhere to the organisation’s guidelines and facilitating retrieval of documentations and information.

What we are looking for

You should be/have: • Resourceful and meticulous • Proficient with Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint • Comfortable with data entry, computation and analysis • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills • A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
