What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of fees setting and review, serving as the primary liaison with user groups to ensure fees are set optimally and reflect actual operational costs. You will also drive digitalisation efforts within the fees function, identifying and implementing technology solutions, including artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Fees Management & Advisory
You will lead the fees-setting process by working closely with user groups to review their operational costs, ensuring fees are calibrated to recover costs appropriately. This includes providing business advisory on fees-related matters, interpreting compliance requirements, and advising stakeholders on the implications of fees structures and policy changes.
Stakeholder Engagement
You will engage regularly with user groups to understand their cost drivers, facilitate cost reviews, and build strong working relationships to support informed and collaborative fees-setting decisions.
Digitalisation, Technology & AI
You will identify opportunities to digitalise and streamline the fees function, including developing user self-help tools, automating costing template preparation, and building in digital self-check features to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort. A key part of this role involves exploring and applying AI tools to enhance the fees function. This could include leveraging AI for data analysis and cost benchmarking, and automating routine checks and validations through intelligent workflows. You will work with relevant teams to scope, pilot, and implement these solutions, staying current with emerging AI capabilities.
What we are looking for
Knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience in cost analysis, fees management, or financial advisory would be advantageous.
An interest in and working knowledge of AI and digital tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and an eye for process improvement.
A proactive, self-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
