What the role is

You play a key role in driving MINDEF's transformation agenda by working closely with leadership to set the direction of transformation efforts, articulate clear outcomes, and deliver actionable solutions for sustained change across MINDEF's work, workforce and workplace.

What you will be working on

- Work closely with MINDEF leadership to shape the direction of transformation efforts, articulate clear transformation outcomes, and drive actionable solutions for sustained organisational change - Develop action plans to improve Organisational Development (OD) in MINDEF, and improve performance, agility and collaboration, at both the organisational and individual levels - Identify and develop expertise in tools and techniques to support leadership in driving mindset and behavioural change across the organisation - Engage with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders to harmonise workstreams, build consensus, and sustain momentum across transformation initiatives - Build collaborations across whole-of-government entities and engage vendors and external change management experts to support transformation and organisational development initiatives Challenge(s) - Navigating a complex stakeholder landscape by understanding each stakeholder's operating challenges and near-term goals, while keeping the broader transformation outcomes in sight - Sustaining organisational momentum for transformation over the long term, given the relatively unstructured and constantly evolving nature of the work

What we are looking for

- At least 6 years of working experience in a policy, plans, transformation or innovation role - Strong writing, presentation and analytical abilities - Good project management and stakeholder management skills - Quick-thinking and innovative, with the ability to thrive in unstructured and constantly evolving work environments without precise precedent - Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty with the ability to maintain a practical and solutions-oriented mindset - Understanding of individual and organisational behaviour, with an innate drive for continuous improvement - Knowledge of organisational development concepts and practices is advantageous Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
