What the role is

Working closely with the Internal Audit Director, you will assess and strengthen governance frameworks and risk management practices across a range of domains, whilst leading the implementation of improvements on the ground. This role offers a unique opportunity to build broad expertise across various governance domains — and to implement your own recommendations to fruition.

What you will be working on

• Provide advisory across governance, risk, and control domains, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and Sustainability Reporting (SR) • Review existing frameworks, risk registers, and control plans to identify gaps, develop practical and actionable recommendations, and independently implement the agreed improvements • Prepare well-structured advisory reports, working papers, and presentations for management and Board-level audiences. • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to drive buy-in and ensure recommendations are implemented successfully. • Report progress and key findings to Management regularly. • Participate in internal audit review assignments on an ad-hoc basis

What we are looking for

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or governance will be preferred • Basic understanding of governance and risk frameworks such as COSO ERM or ISO 31000, with the ability to deepen knowledge independently on the job • Some familiarity with ERM, BCP, WSH, or SR is an advantage • Intellectually curious and a strong self-directed learner, able to navigate unfamiliar subject areas and form independent views • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to translate assessments into practical, actionable improvements • Clear communicator in writing and in person, comfortable presenting to management and Board-level stakeholders • Takes ownership, works independently, and engages stakeholders collaboratively and professionally This multifaceted role offers unique opportunities for professional growth through exposure to strategic initiatives.
