What the role is
What you will be working on
• Work with the project leader and co-project leaders to achieve the aim of the research project.
• Carry out research work in formulation-based research project
• Carry out hands on formulation and analysis of sample using analytical instruments and formulation equipment
• Carry out research work on microbiology and relevant areas.
• Collate, analyse and interpret data
• Coordinate with external collaborator on project’s development
• Assist in procurement including liaising with vendors, sourcing for materials, equipment and testing, and raising purchase requests
• Document and track project issues, expenses and budget tracking, action logs and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in preparing progress reports
• Perform any other duties assigned by the project leader
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Applied Science preferably with experience in working on laboratory based projects
- Good documentation skills, laboratory techniques, and research and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels.
- Possess good multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time.
- Willingness to learn new experimental techniques
- Proficient in IT skills
- The successful candidate will be employed on 1 year contract
