Assistant Manager/Manager (Finance Services Department)

What the role is

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance Services Department (FSD) in Finance Division (FD), you will be responsible for the following:

What you will be working on

  • Work closely with departments on debt arrears management
  • Perform, manage debt recovery actions, and ensure SOP is complied
  • Ensure proper and timely refund of deposits to terminated accounts
  • Prepare submissions of financial information/returns to management and external authorities by the given deadlines.
  • Ensure payments for departments are processed and certified promptly and the payment policies and procedures are complied.
  • Attend to audit queries and prepare year-end audit schedules and reconcile to general ledger
  • Supervise staff and handle any other matters as assigned, such as conducting process reviews and data analytics.

What we are looking for

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

  • A Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline. with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support stakeholders in resolving issues
  • Working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
