What the role is

You are responsible for ensuring the readiness of facilities and associated equipment within the assigned camp complex. You will also oversee food safety, ensure the timely delivery of retail, feeding and maintenance services, and uphold service quality and safety standards in line with requirements set by national bodies and Supply Command HQ.

What you will be working on

- Ensure high readiness of facilities and associated equipment, with 100% readiness of critical operational facilities maintained at all times - Achieve a 100% food safety record within the assigned camp complex, including the prevention of gastrointestinal disease outbreaks - Oversee the effective and timely delivery of retail, feeding and maintenance services - Ensure compliance with service quality and safety standards set by national bodies and Supply Command HQ - Maintain cost-effectiveness and financial prudence in the execution of facilities repair and maintenance works - Set priorities and objectives for the Camp Operations team, and develop and manage personnel within the team Challenge(s) - Sustaining high standards across camp services given their operationally critical nature, where lapses in food safety or facility readiness can directly undermine the operational readiness of supported units - Closely monitoring contractors while mediating effectively between contractors and supported units to ensure that the latter's needs are well met

What we are looking for

- Education in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics, Facilities Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, Retail, or a related field - At least 2 years of working experience in a relevant role - Experience in management or team supervision and in working with contractors and suppliers is preferred - Expertise in institutional catering, estate management and maintenance, or retail is advantageous Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
