What the role is

You are responsible for driving MINDEF/SAF's digital strategy and roadmap to advance the organisation's digital maturity. On this, you scale agile practices across the organisation, incorporate emerging technologies and industry best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and determine the return on investment for digital initiatives.

What you will be working on

- Serve as the focal point between the digital office, business domain owners, and Business Digitalisation Offices to ensure priorities, investments, and solution options are aligned to the enterprise direction - Drive digital transformation across HR, Finance, Logistics and Medical domains, partnering domain stakeholders to achieve measurable business outcomes and enterprise-wide synergy - Review and assess major IT requirements and proposals from domains to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture, platform strategy, and governance frameworks - Provide strategic oversight and advisory on cross-domain digital initiatives, identifying potential trade-offs, integration risks, and synergistic opportunities across IT projects - Collaborate with internal teams and architects to co-develop and refine artefacts such as capability models, data use cases, and system roadmaps - Develop and refresh domain guidance, playbooks, and frameworks to help domains navigate solutioning within enterprise bounds - Identify systemic risks, capability overlaps, and misalignments that require leadership attention, and synthesise insights to put forth corrective actions or policy interventions - Synthesise insights from engagements with various parties and put forth correction actions, or policy interventions Challenge(s) - Engaging multiple stakeholders with differing interests and priorities while maintaining alignment to the broader MINDEF/SAF digital agenda - Keeping abreast of fast-changing technologies and monitoring the trend and development of the digital industry - Recommending sound, practical solutions that can meaningfully transform business models and processes

What we are looking for

- Education in Business, Business Analytics, or Information Technology - At least 7 years of working experience in management consulting, business planning and ctrategy, or digital transformation programme management is preferred - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling communications tailored to different audiences and seniority levels - Resourceful self-starter with robust strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
