Manager, Scholarships and Alumni Management

Fixed Terms
Closing on 25 May 2026

What the role is

The Manager, Scholarships and Alumni oversees the administration of scholarship programmes and the development of alumni engagement for SCIS. The role is integral to building a vibrant and connected college community — supporting students through their academic journey and sustaining meaningful relationships with graduates long after they leave.
On the scholarships front, the Manager administers end-to-end scholarship processes, including applications, selection, and fund allocation, while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
On the alumni front, the Manager develops and implements engagement strategies that foster lasting connections between the college and its graduates. This includes organising networking events, reunions, and mentorship programmes, as well as overseeing alumni communications across newsletters and social media. The Manager works closely with the Partnerships and Engagement Manager on outreach strategies and with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure consistent messaging. To support the holistic development of current students, the Manager also collaborates with the Student Support Manager to facilitate alumni mentorship and career development opportunities.
Underpinning both areas is robust database management — maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of scholarship recipients and alumni to enable effective communication and engagement tracking.

  • Scholarship Administration: Manage scholarship programmes, including application processes, selection criteria, and fund allocation.

  • Alumni Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to maintain strong relationships with alumni from undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Collaborate closely with Partnerships and Engagement Manager for effective outreach strategies and messaging.

  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients and alumni, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

  • Event Coordination: Organise alumni networking events, reunions, and mentorship programmes.

  • Career Support & Mentorship: Facilitate connections between alumni and current students for mentorship and career development opportunities. Collaborate closely with Student Support Manager for a holistic student support experience.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure scholarship programmes comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
