What the role is

The Manager, Learning Technology leads the design and development of digital learning experiences across SCIS programmes. Working closely with faculty and administrators, the role drives the integration of technology into teaching and learning, equipping educators with the tools and support they need to deliver engaging and effective instruction. The Manager also stays abreast of emerging educational technologies, translating research and trends into practical innovations that continuously enhance the learner experience.

What you will be working on

  • Lead digital instructional design and development for SCIS programmes.

  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology into teaching and learning activities.

  • Provide training and support on educational technology tools.

  • Research and implement innovative technologies to enhance the learning experience.

  • Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff on the use of educational technology.

  • Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies and tools to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

  • Support the creation of interactive and engaging digital learning materials.

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented technologies and make necessary adjustments.

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.

  • Experience in digital instructional design and development.

  • Strong knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ability to train and support faculty and staff in the use of educational technology.

  • Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing the learning experience through technology.

  • Experience in a higher education setting.

  • Familiarity with SCIS programmes and curriculum.

  • Proficiency in Arabic Language will be advantageous, as the role may involve engaging with Arabic-speaking stakeholders and supporting the development of learning materials related to Islamic education curriculum.

Successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis.
