You will be part of the Digital Innovation Office (DIO) where you will implement AI and digitalisation initiatives that meet the needs of key stakeholders and business. Your roles and responsibilities include:

What you will be working on
1. Technical Leadership and Stakeholder Management
a. Bridge communications between stakeholders including senior management, business users, and vendor/IT teams.
b. Translate business needs into technical requirements and complex AI outputs into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
c. Lead engagement initiatives to identify optimal trade-offs between business outcomes, system performance limitations, and compliance requirements.
2. AI Solution Development and Implementation
a. Work collaboratively with AGO officers and other stakeholders to identify, scope and prioritise AI use cases across audit and corporate functions.
b. Design, test and implement AI/ML models across the complete lifecycle.
c. Lead development of production-ready AI solutions and incorporate front-end interfaces and workflows to ensure applications are user-friendly and meet business needs.
3. MLOps and Product Lifecycle Management
a. Establish and maintain MLOps practices covering the end-to-end journey from development to model retirement.
b. Design and manage CI/CD/CT pipelines with version control across code, data and models.
c. Implement performance monitoring, data drift detection, and automated retraining to ensure models remain safe, effective and fit for purpose.
4. Strategic Oversight and Documentation
a. Oversee and document AI project lifecycles, conduct research on emerging technologies, and collaborate with AGO's Computer and Information Systems Branch.
b. Draft and enhance policies, SOPs and guidelines whilst communicating project updates and technical concepts to stakeholders and management.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Singapore Citizen.
• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering and/or relevant certifications.
• Proficient in at least 1 programming language. Knowledge in Python, machine learning frameworks, APIs, and AI-related development tools would be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in implementing projects involving AI, data science, or related technologies.
• Able to take a broad, strategic perspective to understand business needs and challenges; interested in the field of audit and keen to learn about application of data science techniques for audits.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team to achieve results, even in situations of high pressure and ambiguity.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in public/private sector.

Serving public service officers with the relevant experience or a keen interest may also apply to join AGO.
Candidates need to demonstrate proficiency in English through the provision of supporting documents such as GCE ‘O’/ ‘A’ level results, or other relevant supporting documents.
