You will be attached part of to the Digital Innovation Office (DIO) where you will implement a variety of digitalisation initiatives that meet the needs of key stakeholders and business. Your roles and responsibilities include:

What you will be working on
1. Technical Support and Stakeholder Management
a. Bridge communications between business stakeholders and development teams by acquiring comprehensive understanding of technical implementation approaches and constraints,
b. Translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate important information and insights to various stakeholders.
c. Coordinate stakeholder demonstrations and feedback sessions to evaluate effectiveness and user experience through defining evaluation frameworks and gathering user feedback.
2. Data Science Solution Development and Implementation
a. Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the agency to identify and scope data science projects.
b. Conduct analysis of existing work processes and undertake business process reviews to propose and develop solutions using appropriate tools and platforms.
c. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of solutions, analyse results and identify areas for improvement in full-scale implementation.
3. Project Lifecycle Management and Validation
a. Oversee and document the entire lifecycle of data science projects from inception to deployment.
b. Document business requirements validation outcomes and recommend enhancements based on business impact and value.
c. Implement performance monitoring and evaluation measures to ensure solutions remain effective and meet business objectives.
4. Strategic Oversight and Documentation
a. Conduct user research on emerging technologies and methodologies to keep abreast of market practices.
b. Collaborate with AGO's Computer and Information Systems Branch to explore and implement new solutions.
c. Draft, review and enhance policies, SOPs and guidelines related to the digital innovation domain whilst providing periodic reporting to management on project progress and outcomes.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Singapore Citizen.
• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science and/or relevant certifications.
• Process a good understanding of machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Proficient in at least 1 programming language. Knowledge in Python, R, Tableau, Power BI and/or other data science products would be advantageous.
• Able to take a broad, strategic perspective to understand business needs and challenges; interested in the field of audit and keen to learn about application of data science techniques for audits.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team to achieve results, even in situations of high pressure and ambiguity.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with less than 5 years of relevant experience in Data Science are welcome to apply.
Serving Public Officers:
Serving public service officers with the relevant experience or a keen interest may also apply to join AGO.
Candidates need to demonstrate proficiency in English through the provision of supporting documents such as GCE ‘O’/ ‘A’ level results, or other relevant supporting documents.
