Manager (Projects & Facilities Management)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You are responsible for:
i. Day-to-day Operations and Maintenance of building and to render technical support to labs / stakeholders at all sites.
ii. Attending to site problems and providing suggestions / solutions to mitigate them expeditiously to achieve zero/minimal downtime.
iii. Drafting specifications for calling quotation / tender for technical improvements and A&A works for the building, evaluate offers and manage awarded contractors.
iv. Managing outsourced contractors to ensure that quality work is carried out in accordance with the agreed schedule.
What we are looking for
- Background in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with at least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management and operations
• Strong mechanical & electrical background with good understanding of building management systems
• Strong knowledge of building operations and maintenance works, vendor management, regulatory compliance and current codes of practice.
• Attention to details, ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal, communication and problemsolving skills
• Certification as Green Mark AccreditedProfessional, Licensed Electrical Worker, will be an advantage.
• Familarity with Government Procurement procedures, project/ maintenance contract adminstration and AutoCAD would be preferred.
