What the role is

You will manage and undertake in-depth statistical research & analysis on the labour market to support MOM's strategic outcomes. Provide objective and rigorous assessment of the state and trends in the labour market to facilitate informed decision-making within the government and the community-at-large.

What you will be working on

• Manage a team to conduct timely and relevant research on the labour market. • Initiate studies to measure emerging trends and identify wider implications of the analysis produced. • Distil complex data into simple visuals and presentations. • Conduct analytics on data to draw conclusions about the information. • Provide advisory on the data and statistical techniques that are suitable for purposes of the research. • Spot erroneous interpretation or weaknesses in data analysis.

What we are looking for

• Background in Statistics, Economics, Business, English or Communication Studies. • Experience in leading teams in research and analysis. • Strong in analytical, communications and copywriting skills. To support Whole-of-Government statistical capabilities and provide diverse opportunities for our officers, DOS recruits for statistical roles across the Public Service.
