Senior Executive - Procurement Department
What the role is
What you will be working on
Administer and manage high volumes of Small-Value Purchase (SVP) requests, for all Schools and Corporate Departments within NYP.
Provide guidance to requestors on SVP requirements and process (e.g. variation of AOR (when required), required number of quotations for price comparison, use of other alternatives to SVP such as buy and claim/quickbuy etc).
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and review submissions for completeness prior to conducting price comparisons for Small-Value Purchases.
Facilitate the issuance of Purchase Orders through systems (e.g. Workday), ensuring accuracy and completeness of procurement records.
Uphold strong documentation and record-management standards to support transparent and compliant procurement processes.
Adhere to established government procurement policies and procedures (Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement).
Provide support for additional job-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Proven working experience in procurement
Good analytical and logical thinking skills, meticulous and with an eye for details
Good team player, self-driven and service-oriented
Able to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under tight timeline
Experience with Microsoft Word and/or Excel
