As a Senior/ Lead Manager of School Operations Policy in the Schools Division, you will play a pivotal role in MOE's efforts to strengthen and support schools in achieving the desired outcomes of education through developing visionary leaders and innovative schools. You will work closely with various HQ divisions, schools and external agencies, as well as in a team to achieve the intended outcomes, offering guidance and support to policy and ground considerations for effective implementation. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to workplace transformation within the education sector.

What you will be working on
• Collaborate with MOE HQ staff to plan, implement and monitor pilot project(s) to inform new policies across stages of the policy cycle
• Partner and support schools across various aspects such as process planning, stakeholder engagement, operational and administrative matters, and data collection, through regular school visits and engagement with school personnel
• Partner and collaborate with external agencies on multi-agency project(s) to shape policy and contribute to national strategic objectives
• Monitor, evaluate and report policy outcomes for review and enhancement
• Review current landscapes and identify gaps for transformation opportunities, such as leveraging technology to automate processes for enhanced efficiency and sustainability
What we are looking for
• Experience in policy work within the Public Service would be preferred
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Dynamic and resourceful with a passion for continuous improvement
• Keen interest in workplace transformation and a passion for collaborating with both MOE HQ teams and school communities
