Foreign Manpower Management Division (FMMD)’s work is to maintain high compliance of the work pass framework and to protect migrant workers (MWs) and migrant domestic workers (MDWs)’ basic rights. This ensures a fair playing field to enable law-abiding businesses to thrive and provide employment opportunities for locals, whilst encouraging public support for foreign manpower in Singapore.
The Enforcement Planning & Policy, Data & Statistics Team supports the division’s missions by working with various stakeholders to drive enforcement policy reviews and improve operational processes. This position also offers opportunities to work with other MOM Divisions on a range of data analytics projects.

What you will be working on
• Handle data extraction through the building of data queries to acquire data from primary and secondary sources (e.g. VQL, Tableau, excel);
• Examine large amount of data to identify, analyse and interpret trends and patterns in complex data;
• Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical models and AI-assisted tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders;
• Review system to ensure that critical data is captured in a structured manner;
• Perform UAT on system enhancement;
What we are looking for
• Tertiary education
• Statistical/analytics background is a strong advantage
• Relevant working experience with using SQL, R, Python and/or other programming tools/languages, as well as data visualisation tools such as Tableau, is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Detailed and meticulous
• Good written and oral communication skills
