What the role is

The Attorney-General’s Chambers is looking for a driven and articulate candidate with keen interest in human resource to join the organization. You will be responsible in the oversight of integrated HR services and solutions to line divisions which include business partnering, workforce/ manpower solutions, advice on personnel policies as well as formulation and implementation of HR policies and frameworks on leadership and talent development.

What you will be working on

Some of the key responsibilities are: HR Centre of Excellence and Operations • Oversees the team in the management of end-to-end processes of various HR functions such as recruitment and inflows, exit management, contract management, conduct and discipline, performance management etc. HR Business Partnership • Oversees the Business Partner team– partner both internal and external stakeholders including Senior Management, vendors and representatives from other agencies, to deliver the appropriate level of HR services and support to officers. HR Policy, Leadership & Talent • Oversees the operationalisation and implementation of WOG- and agency-level HR policies and frameworks on HR matters including talent development, succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential identification programmes. You are also expected to lead in the strategic workforce development and provide executive-level advisory services on complex workforce matters, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and ‘Future of Work’ vision, government HR frameworks and driving policy implementation across all business units Additionally, you will spearhead HR transformation and innovation initiatives including identifying opportunities to digitalize manual processes, and transform service delivery to enhance departmental efficiency and the employee experience in AGC.

What we are looking for

Requirements • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in human resource, with proven leadership capabilities in managing teams, driving policy implementation, and delivering measurable business outcomes. • Prior working experiences in the public sector, in related HR functions would be advantageous. • Meticulous with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. • Demonstrated capability in driving change management initiatives through the strategic integration of innovative technologies and process improvement tools.
