Lead Engineer/Engineer, Infra, Intelligence Operational Sys & Infra, Intel PMC

We are searching for Program and Project Managers, who will be responsible in planning, managing and ensuring the successful implementation of Intelligence projects for Home Team departments. For large-scale project(s), the jobholder will either perform as Program Manager or work with the respective Program Manager to ensure successful rollout of the project(s).

The candidate will be working on: The design, build and operation of intelligence and security ecosystem for continuous capability delivery The design and implementation of uninterrupted operations by continuous monitoring of systems, incident response and resolution, including their operational security. Provide project management to ensure the timely implementation and delivery of projects. Perform procurement of products and services, conduct evaluation, either independently or with his/her supervisor, on system proposals submitted by vendors participating in the Tender/Quotation processes called through the government tendering or quotation procedures. Work with stakeholders, including in-house or external vendors, to conduct investigation and/or analyse system behaviours, degradations, faults, and mishaps to troubleshoot, identify and resolve any technical problems or system issues where applicable. Collaborate with other HTX units on Enterprise-wide initiatives Work closely with the respective stakeholders on the following: gather and scope the business requirements to be developed into business cases and specifications; and/or perform feasibility studies on new/existing technologies, evaluate and recommend ICT solutions that best address the business needs perform; and/or assist the stakeholders in the discussion of technologies of interest with vendors or in the use of low-code development platforms, participate in discussions on the technical solutioning, security and integration features for the proposed projects

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in at least one of the following specialisations: - enterprise network and security architectures (for network) - enterprise computing and cloud hosting architectures (for computing) - enterprise data centre hosting environments (for data centre) - Proven experience in IT business analysis and/or IT project management. - Prior work experience in Government environment and familiarity with Instruction Manual will be advantageous. - Knowledge on data analytics, data science and AI will be advantageous. - Have strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills. - Ability to adapt to changes and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. - Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders. All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
