Paralegal
What the role is
What you will be working on
[Application of Law] Supporting the NHB Legal Division with conducting legal research on statutes, regulations and caselaw
[Contract Advisory & Management] Reviewing and proofreading of basic legal agreements (MOUs, Loan Agreements, Addendums, Gift Agreements, Contest Terms & Conditions, etc)
[File Reference Issuing & Records Management] Assisting in maintaining and updating the files, documents and records of the NHB Legal Division, and collecting divisional statistics for reporting purposes
Administrative support for the Legal Unit including but not limited to archiving, creation of templates, procurement of external legal services, liaising with external legal firms on invoicing matters, processing of claims
Preparation of presentation materials for internal and external meetings
Interfacing with requests from members of the public regarding the use of Singapore’s National Symbols
What we are looking for
Minimum qualification of Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies with preferably 5 years of relevant experience
Experience with drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. Prior experience in handling Government procurement matters is advantageous.
Good command of written and spoken English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Powerpoint, Excel
Possesses strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work in a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
A keen interest in the visual arts, museum and cultural heritage sector
