What you will be working on
Week 1-2:
• On-boarding and assignment of job scope for various events
Week 3-18:
Preparation of various events which includes:
1) Liaising with potential partners
2) Development/ curation of hands-on activities
3) Procurement of materials for activities or event
4) To plan and film promotional videos for event
5) Management of manpower for execution of events/ packing of materials
Week 19-20:
• Wrap up of events and hand-over
What we are looking for
Intern must enjoy interacting with the students and comfortable with facilitating science activities, admin work and events coordination.
1) Assist in events planning and execution of various events across Events and Engagement team. Events include but not exhaustive, Abbott Young Scientist Programme, Research and Exposure Programme, Science Buskers, Sony Creative Science Award, National STEM Championship, STAR Lecture, Young Scientist Badge awards ceremony.
2) Assist in the R&D of various science activities/ workshops for events.
3) To facilitate science workshops for students of various levels. i.e. Primary School and Secondary School
4) If events fall on weekend or Public Holiday, intern might be called-back to assist. An off day will be given to intern within a month.
