What the role is

1. Intern will be involved in assisting an educator/project officer in conducting enrichment programmes/ managing projects, handling logistics and administrative aspects. 2. Intern will be required to research on various creative methods to deliver science or STEM and assist in the programme facilitation during workshops and events. 3. Intern will be grading Young Scientist projects daily and activities related to YSB and workshops

What you will be working on

Week 1: • Orientation • Introduction to the educators and ISP and ES staff • Explore the galleries, Labs • Science Centre website • Familiarize with YSB platform Week 2: Assist in the following: • Enrichment classes. • YSB grading (familiarise) • Sit and Assist with the ISP workshops • Prepare materials for workshops if any • Grading YSB assignments Week 4: • Mok lessons with other educators • Sit in the workshops • Grading YSB assignments Week 5: • Certify any one workshop • Sit in the workshops • Grading YSB assignments Week 6 onwards: • Conducting enrichment programmes independently • Grading YSB assignments • Admin work • R&D for programmes

What we are looking for

1. Enjoy interacting with students, industry partners, schools and public. 2. Good communication skills - Passion in science education and event management - Added advantage if intern is familiar with STEM education and project management 3. Interns will need to work on some evenings (for Observatory programmes) 4. Interns may need to work on some weekends for their projects (YSB/ public Programmes/ Events) Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
