What the role is

You are responsible for the planning and production of media content for the Army, overseeing both public and internal communications. From ideation to post-production, you direct the entire media production process, manage timelines, and develop the capabilities of your production team. You also liaise with multiple stakeholders across Divisions and Formations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of content.

What you will be working on

- Propose creative content ideas in line with current trends to communicate intended messages across Army media platforms, including internal and external media - Lead the media production team through all stages of production, from conceptualisation and pre-production logistics to on-ground production and post-editing of footage and photos - Provide technical and creative expertise to review and give constructive feedback on content developed by the team - Conduct in-house training and creative learning for new staff to equip them with the technical and creative skills needed for media production work Challenge(s) - Generating creative and engaging content while navigating information security and operational security restrictions - . Liaising with multiple stakeholders throughout media production and clearance process - Responding to operational injects and media operations at short notice as part of standby force requirements - Training and working with a workforce of varied skillsets, including Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) who often learn on the job, to consistently deliver high-quality content

What we are looking for

- Education in Film, Photography, Communications, New Media, Mass Communication, or a related field is advantageous - Technical expertise in photography and videography, with proficiency in post-editing software such as the Adobe Suite - At least 2 years of working experience in communications, filmmaking, or related fields is preferred - Responsible, committed, and professional, with strong creative and critical thinking skills - Resourceful and flexible - Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure - Strong interpersonal effectiveness and ability to collaborate across diverse teams (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
