What the role is
The role will focus on building strategy, systems and processes to strengthen partner engagement, grow sustained giving, support volunteerism, and deliver community programmes that meet district needs.
What you will be working on
Corporate Partnership Strategy
- Develop and implement CS CDC’s corporate partnership strategy to grow meaningful, long-term collaborations with companies and key partners.
- Identify priority sectors, partner segments and engagement approaches that match partner interests with community needs.
- Develop partnership frameworks and engagement matrices to guide how Central CDC cultivates, manages and deepens partner relationships.
- Drive partnerships that bring in funding, expertise, in-kind support, volunteer participation and practical solutions for the community.
CDC-Wide Partnership Coordination
- Serve as the coordinating lead for CS CDC partnerships across teams.
- Develop systems and processes to track partner engagements, commitments, opportunities and follow-ups across the organisation.
- Strengthen visibility of CS CDC’s partner network to improve coordination, reduce duplication and support better relationship management.
- Put in place dashboards, databases and reporting processes to monitor partnership health, engagement levels and outcomes.
District Giving & Resource Development
- Build a sustained giving strategy for the district, covering corporate giving, individual donations, sponsorships and in-kind contributions.
- Strengthen CDC GiraffeSG as a community platform that encourages giving, volunteerism and ground-up support for local needs in Central Singapore.
- Develop processes to identify donor prospects, steward existing donors and grow long-term support for CS CDC initiatives.
Volunteer Strategy
- Develop an end-to-end volunteer strategy covering recruitment, onboarding, deployment, engagement, retention and recognition.
- Put in place systems to better match volunteers to needs, track volunteer involvement and sustain engagement over time.
- Work with internal teams and partners to create meaningful volunteer opportunities that support CS CDC priorities.
CS CDC Community Programmes
- Oversee the planning and delivery of selected CDC community programmes that support district priorities and resident needs.
- Work with internal teams, grassroots organisations and partners to develop practical initiatives that benefit the community.
- Ensure programmes are well-coordinated, outcome-focused and supported by suitable partners, volunteers and resources.
- Review programme progress, budgets and outcomes to strengthen delivery and impact.
Special Projects & Taskforces
- Lead strategic projects and taskforces assigned by Management.
- Develop clear workplans, governance structures and coordination processes to drive implementation.
- Work across teams and partners to translate new ideas or emerging priorities into actionable plans and outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop team members in partnership engagement, volunteer management, programme delivery and stakeholder coordination.
- Build a practical, collaborative and outcome-focused team culture.

Other Duties
- Lead or support ad-hoc projects, duties and assignments that contribute to CS CDC’s broader organisational priorities.
- Participate in cross-team taskforces, workgroups and initiatives where required.
- Support internal coordination and capability-building efforts to strengthen teamwork, systems and overall organisational effectiveness.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant experience in corporate partnerships, community engagement, stakeholder management, programme management, volunteer management, fundraising, public service or social sector work.
• Experience in leading projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Good understanding of community needs, corporate engagement and public/social sector work.
• Strong communication, coordination and project management skills.
Desired Requirements
• At least 5 years of leadership or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong track record in corporate partnerships, stakeholder engagement, volunteer management, fundraising or community programme development.
• Proven ability to build strategies, systems and processes for partnership and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong relationship management skills with corporates, grassroots leaders, public agencies and community partners.
• Experience leading teams, taskforces or cross-sector projects.
Others
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
