What the role is
What you will be working on
You will manage ITS project , overseeing contract activities including budgeting and contractor management to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to specification.
You will plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance programmes for projects. This includes conducting site inspections, overseeing system and equipment maintenance and fault rectification, as well as carrying out system testing activities.
You will also review fault statistics and key performance indicators to support the smooth and efficient operation of the road network.
Beyond day-to-day maintenance, you will manage resources, schedules, and contractors to ensure all services are delivered to the required standards, holding contractors accountable to their contractual obligations and driving performance improvements where necessary.
A key part of the role involves data analysis and seek data insights to evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative, support operational policy decisions, and contribute to ongoing programme evaluation and process refinement. The role also involves active engagement with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities, understand user needs, and align on operational and technical requirements.
What we are looking for
Knowledge in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
At least three years of experience in systems engineering, project management, or maintenance management in a traffic or transportation-related field.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights for operations and policy purposes is preferred.
Genuine interest in operations and maintenance environments, with a keen interest in problem-solving.
Resourceful and self-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong sense of responsibility, with good writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Willingness to support night works and duties, and ability to respond on-site when required.
