Assistant Director (Digital Expertise Development)

You assist in developing the Expertise Architecture and Competency Framework for Software Engineering under the C4 Expert (C4X) and Defence Cyber Expert (DCX) (Digital) Vocational Advisory Authority (VAA).

- Develop the sub-domain expertise architecture for Cloud, Data Science/Artificial Intelligence (DS/AI), and Software Engineering under the VAA - Deepen task expertise for Cloud, DS/AI, and Software Engineering within the vocation - Review the vocation Training Road Map (TRM) in accordance with the governance framework established by the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) Training Department (DTD) - Coordinate with the DIS Training Command's (DTCOM) middle office to support trainer pathway development for selected personnel, and provide inputs on curriculum development for Software Engineers under your charge - Provide subordinate units with workplace training support Challenge(s) - Navigating a dynamic environment whilst managing multiple stakeholders with diverse priorities - Establishing a structured curriculum and developing continuous learning pathways for the C4X/DCX (Digital) vocation

- Education in Organisational Innovation, Management, Engineering, or a related field - At least 6 years of relevant work experience in training and/or Human Resource (HR) roles is preferred - Prior experience in managing, facilitating, and contextualising learning for trainees, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders is advantageous - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities - Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently - Exceptional attention to detail Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
