What you will be working on
You will be a member of the Standards and Practice Innovation (SPI) Division within PSG to support MSF’s Enabling Division (EN) in developing professional practice guidelines for the disability sector to strengthen service delivery and the quality of care for persons with disabilities. You will work closely with EN to co draft the practice guidelines, ensuring the guidelines are grounded in evidence-based practices and aligned with MSF's broader policy objectives. You will also provide professional consultation on various EN programmes (e.g., Enabling Skills for Life Programme, adult and children disability homes) and contribute to capability-building efforts across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Professional Input on Guidelines Development
• Provide consultation and professional guidance to co-draft and support EN in the development of the practice guidelines and ensure the final document is aligned with evidence-based practices
•Advise on integration of core intervention approaches including, but not limited to positive behavioural support, active support, crisis management, and trauma-informed care principles.
2. Consultation on Sector Engagement and Communication
•Provide strategic advice and co-facilitate co-creation processes with sector partners.
•Consult on the design and management of discussion sessions with residential homes and other stakeholders to optimize feedback gathering and incorporation.
•Provide guidance on best practices for integrating sector and partner feedback (MOH, MOE) into overall guidelines.
3. Programme and Policy Support
•Offer professional consultation on programme design elements and intervention models to complement EN’s expertise (e.g. DCMP, Enabling Skills for Life Programme, consultancy studies).
•Advise on approaches for building service provider capabilities and stakeholder engagement for effective programme implementation.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies:
• At least a Master’s degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology
• At least 10 years’ experience in special education, adult disability or hospital setting with at least 5 years’ experience in working with older children or adults with disabilities
• Experience in programme design and guidelines development preferred
• Good knowledge of the adult disability sector
• Good command of written and spoken English

• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
