What you will be working on
This position involves overseeing the development and enhancement of Facilities Management contracts, ensuring robust control, procurement, and management processes are in place to support the continuity and effective operation of Sport Centres.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Collation of data, conduct market sensing, technical specifications and users’ requirements.
• Ensuring budget availability by preparing Approval of Requirement (AOR).
• Preparation of tender documents for publish on GeBiz.
• Evaluating tender and managing tender award processes.
• Submission of Tender Evaluation Report to Tender Board for approval.
• Conduct regular checks and inspections to ensure contractors’ performance standards are met.
• Provide support and assistance to resolve contractual issues.
• Engage contractors and maintenance teams regularly to identify potential issues and propose contracting strategies and solution for effective contract management.
• Monitor and track funds utilisation as well as contract expiry.
• Ensure timely contract renewal & seamless provision of required FM products and services in compliance with Financial Regulations & IM.
• Gather information to identify opportunities for demand aggregation.
• Collaborate with operation/ maintenance team by providing technical /expertise support and assistance on facilities management and maintenance, including troubleshooting at the sites or issues.
• Provide support and assistance to resolve contractual issues and technical queries with appointed term contractors.
• Provide technical advice/expertise and inputs, support and assistance to Sports Infrastructure Group, NSAs and tenants.
• Ensure alignment of SportSG standard operating procedures to meet statutory requirements.
• Oversee the Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP) for all ActiveSG buildings.
• Ensure presence or applications of Energy Market Authority (EMA) licenses on electrical installation of sports facilities.
• Ensure existing ActiveSG buildings adhere to prevailing Building Control Authority (BCA) Green Mark Certifications.
• Responsible for the fulfilment of Public Sector Taking The Lead In Environmental Sustainability (PSTLES) requirements on Resource Management Plan for selected sports facilities that fall within the requirement.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 2 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas.
• Good stakeholder management skills to influence and communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• Team player with initiative who adapts well to change.
• Effective project management and coordination skills.
• Good working knowledge and understanding of maintenance and contracts.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
